Anne Hathaway hummus radishes

Anne Hathaway hummus radishes,Like most Hollywood actresses, Anne Hathaway has always been very thin. But lately, the media's used words like "frail," "scary skinny," and even "too skinny" to describe her after she altered her body to prepare for two big-screen roles. First, she had to be thin (of course) but also strong as she slipped on the famous, revealing Catwoman suit for Christopher Nolan's highly-anticipated "The Dark Knight Rises," which hits theaters July 20. She reportedly worked out intensely and took dance classes five days a week in her quest to stay lean. Then came the even harder part. She had to slim down further to play Fantine, a prostitute with tuberculosis, in the upcoming film version of "Les Miserables," coming out on December 14. Hathaway, 29, reveals in a new interview with Allure that both experiences have been grueling — and not just on her body.

"The Catwoman suit. It was a psychological terrorist ... the suit, thoughts of my suit, changing my life so I would fit into that suit ... it dominated my year," she tells the magazine. "I went into the gym for ten months and didn't come out." At the time when chatted with the magazine, Hathaway confesses she was "doing some crazy diet stuff" for the all-star musical. "I'm on day six of detox ... this diet makes me break out, so I love that. Nothing like living on hummus and radishes and then be all, 'And I got a pimple. Yeah!'" While she may be exaggerating a little about her extreme diet, she was reportedly eating just 500 calories a day!
Hathaway, who also cut her long locks into a super short crop for "Les Miz," is so intense when it comes to her craft that it's no surprise she's up for doing the tough scenes. She's even up for acting in the buff when she feels it's warranted, as moviegoers saw in "Love and Other Drugs" and "Brokeback Mountain." "I'm as vain as the next girl, but I think it's my job to show people as they live, and nudity is part of life," she explains.
Still, Hollywood is full of critics. Hathaway recounts the time she was told she should get Botox — at 23! "I was like, 'Can we maybe discuss heavy creams first?'" Hathaway says. "I reserve the right to figure that out after I've pushed out a bunch of babies."
