Jennifer Hudson Weight Loss,As any dieter can testify, it's a proud moment when you finally reach your goal weight.
So Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Hudson can justifiably be pleased.
This year Hudson has gone from a US size 16 (UK 20) to a size 6 (UK 10), but she's adamant that she's taken her weight loss journey far enough.
'I don't want to lose any more weight, and you're never going to see me skinny,' she told InStyle Makeover magazine.
But the new mum, who gave birth to her first child, David, in August 2009, does admit that her new figure sometimes takes her by surprise.
She said: 'I'm like, wow! This is what I look like?'
Since losing weight, Hudson, 28, has also developed a passion for fashion, perhaps due to having more shopping options available to her.
'I have a serious shopping problem now,' she told the magazine.
'Each city we go to, my suitcase won’t hold my new clothes so we have to box them up and ship them home.'
The Dreamgirls star shed pounds by working out five times a week with celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak and following Weight Watchers, for whom she is a spokesperson.
'It's not a diet, it's really a way of living that teaches you better skills,' she says of the weight loss plan.
'For years I felt like I could never have ice cream, but I can eat ice cream occasionally now!'
Hudson is currently shooting her latest film, Winnie, in which she plays the former wife of Nelson Mandela alongside Terence Howard.
