Honey Boo Boo and crazy family,Honey Boo Boo and her crazy family have arrived on TLC. When Sugar Bear, Pumpkin, Chubbs, and Chickadee found themselves on their own reality show, there was nothing America could do but tune in. On August 8, the show "Honey Boo Boo Child" aired for the first time on TLC. According to CNN, mom June Thompson knows her family is on the crazy side but her daughter's popularity on "Toddlers and Tiaras" made the family realize that they were on to something b-i-g.

As previously reported, the show did receive mixed reviews. Is this family the average, all-American unit? Most would say no. But the Thomspon's seem to be having fun with this regardless.

Honey Boo Boo's family was dubbed "crazy" by none other than June Thompson herself. She knows that her brood isn't "typical" but their uniqueness (for lack of a better word) is making them television stars. As long as America keeps watching, this family will keep going—or so it seems.

"America kind of wanted to know what our life was like outside of the pageant world, and this show will portray . We do a lot of mud bogging, four-wheel riding, going to community events. the crazy things we do to pass the time by. I think America will get the gist of who we actually are," said June.
