Olivier Martinez designed Halle Berry engagement ring

Olivier Martinez designed Halle Berry engagement ring

Olivier Martinez designed Halle Berry engagement ring,Nothing but that absolute best for Halle Berry!
As reported by Us Weekly two months ago, Olivier Martinez finally confirmed Saturday that the actress, 45, accepted his proposal of marriage.

And a close pal to the hunky French actor-turned-restauranteur, 46, tells Us that Martinez went to great lengths to surprise his Dark Tides costar with a custom-designed engagement ring (featuring diamonds and emeralds) from luxe Paris-based Lebanese jeweler Robert Mazlo, whose shop is located in his own Saint-Germain-des-Pres neighborhood. Mazlo is "a real artist" whose family has been designing jewelry for "kings and queens for many centuries," Martinez told Miami.com at the opening of his eatery Villa Azur.

Meeting with shop owner Robert Mazlo (descended from a long line of master jewelers) just before Christmas 2011, Martinez "said he wanted to produce the most beautiful ring ever made – money was no object and he only wanted the finest materials involved," the pal explains.
Determined to help Martinez create a "masterpiece" for his love, Mazlo had an unusual request for his client: To take a 500-year-old mystical "alchemy test," answering seven questions about the Oscar-winning actress' favorite shapes, colors, numbers and signs.

Mazlo then "decoded" the answers to design a ring befitting Berry's personality. "Olivier was absolutely delighted with the result," the source says of the "stunning" ring, worth "well into the five figures."
A spokesman for Le Maison Mazlo would not discuss its consultation with Martinez.
"Yes, of course we're engaged," Martinez told Miami.com over the weekend, and slammed a rival jeweler for taking credit for his wife-to-be's bauble.
As for wedding plans for the couple? "Not yet finalized," the source notes, but there's a "very good chance it would be in Paris. It will be first time round for Olivier . . . he would love it to be in his home city – the city he knows and loves."
