Emily Bachelorette 2012

Emily Bachelorette 2012

Emily Bachelorette 2012,ABC's “The Bachelorette 2012” took viewers to Curacao Monday night to see Emily and her final three suitors go on their fantasy dates. Fans have been looking forward to this episode all season, and it certainly lived up to the hype. Emily and Jef shared an amazing hometown date in last week's episode, but the previews had teased that things may not go so smoothly in Monday's episode. Were “Team Jem” fans happy with how things went?
As Emily and Jef's segment of the episode opens, Jef Holm notes that while he's 100% certain he wants to be with Emily, there are obstacles remaining as there are still two other guys there. As a result, he says he's not 100% certain it's going to work out. He says, “It's not over yet, and it's not over until I propose to her. And I hope she says yes.” Emily, on the other hand, loves where their relationship is at this point, but she worries a bit about whether his family liked her during their hometown date.

Jef tells Emily that he talked to his family after the date, and they all really liked her. He adds that he talked with his parents as well, and they had heard from his brother and sister how well things went. He admits they were skeptical prior to the show, but they want to meet her, and Emily is clearly touched. Of course one big thing remaining is Emily's daughter Ricki, as Jef has yet to meet her. Jef says that Ricki is the biggest part of Emily's life, and he hopes to be the second biggest part, so he wants to meet Ricki. He feels that if the three of them can work together, they'll be perfect forever.

As the two talk, Jef tells Emily that he feels as if they are balanced better than anybody else he can think of. She feels that he gets her, and he feels that she gets him. Jef shares with the camera that their relationship feels like a painting coming together. He says you can't tell what it is as you look at the individual brush strokes, but when you take a step back you can see a masterpiece is being painted. He says he wants to spend every day with her as if it's their last, and he thinks she's the most amazing, beautiful girl ever. He notes that while the sun is just setting, their whole life together has just started.

During dinner, Jef notes that he has some important questions for Emily. He asks her where she would want to live if they end up together. She says that she hopes they could pick somewhere that gives them the opportunity to start a whole new life for just the three of them. She says she doesn't expect him to move to Charlotte, and while she hasn't been to Salt Lake City before, she would move wherever he is or wants to be.

Next Jef asks Emily why her prior relationships haven't worked out for her. She says that there have been guys where everything is there on paper, but there is always some unspoken piece missing. She tells Jef, “I see so many things in you that are so perfect on paper, but also, things you can't put on paper.” She adds that he makes her laugh and smile, and he ignites a self-confidence in her that she hasn't had in a really long time.

Emily turns the tables and asks Jef the same thing regarding his prior relationships. He admits that he just hasn't seen the end goal with anybody he's dated, until Emily. He says he has never met two people who are more perfect for one another than the two of them.

Jef then asks about Ricki, wanting to know if Emily thinks he would be a fit for her. Emily shares that as she was in Charlotte with Ricki after the Prague dates, she pictured adding a guy into the mix, and she immediately thought of Jef. She feels that he'd be a perfect fit, and he loves that she can picture them together like that. Next comes the fantasy suite card, and he responds like a gentleman. She tells him that she would like to spend more time with him in the suite, but they can't spend the night together.

The two tour the suite and kiss passionately on the balcony. Jef tells her again he loves her, and says he'd love to spend the night with her but he knows what they have together and it's the time to bridle their passions. Emily says she knows how strongly she feels for him, and giving up a few hours together won't change anything. Jef says it was the best date he's ever been on and it was hard to walk out the door. However, he knows what they have is unique and different and amazing, and after their date he's more in love with her than ever.
