Cro-Mags stab bite,The Cro-Mags founding member Harley Flanagan was arrested Friday, July 6 after allegedly stabbing and biting current members of the lineup as they prepared to go onstage at Webster Hall as part of the CBGB Festival.

Flanagan, 45, faces charges of second degree assault and a weapons charge.
Cro-Mags lead singer John Joseph McGowan spoke with The New York Times, describing Flanagan’s relationship with the band as a difficult one since leaving in 2000, with no possibility of return.
“This dude has been a negative thorn in the side of this band forever,” Joseph said. “I hope he gets what’s coming to him.”
Organizers of the CBGB Festival, which runs through Sunday, July 8, issued the following statement: “We are saddened to learn about the events that occurred last night at Webster Hall. Our primary concern is always the safety and experience of New Yorkers, music fans and the general public.
